Key Responsibilities • Provide direct personal care and emotional support to children and young people with challenging behaviours. • Assist with daily routines, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. • Implement individual care plans, focusing on behavioural management strategies and promoting positive outcomes. • Support young people in their educational, social, and recreational activities, both within the home and in the community. • Encourage independence and the development of social and life skills. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any significant observations. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. • Foster a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for the young people in your care.
