Key Responsibilities • Provide person-centred care and support to children and young people, tailored to their individual needs and preferences. • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management where required. • Engage children in enriching activities, both within the home and in the community, promoting their social development and well-being. • Utilise your driving skills to safely transport children to appointments, school, and leisure activities, ensuring their comfort and punctuality. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, communicating effectively with team members and other professionals. • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to support. • Act as a positive role model, fostering independence, confidence, and life skills. • Work collaboratively with families and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
