About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Services team in Liverpool. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in supporting and empowering young people, making a tangible difference in their lives. You will be responsible for leading a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support within our residential setting. This is a permanent position offering a varied shift pattern including days, nights, long days, twilight, sleep-ins, and waking nights, allowing you to experience the full scope of our service provision. Key Responsibilities • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of support staff, fostering a positive and supportive working environment. • Oversee the day-to-day care and support for young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. • Develop and implement care plans, working collaboratively with young people, their families, and other professionals. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safeguarding procedures. • Manage incidents and challenging behaviours effectively, supporting your team in their responses. • Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary documentation. • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
