About the Role Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our Children's Services team in Winterbourne. In this vital role, you will be supporting children and young people who exhibit challenging behaviours, helping them to develop essential life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. As a driver, you will also play a key part in facilitating activities, appointments, and outings, ensuring our young people can access the community and enriching experiences safely and reliably. Key Responsibilities • Provide consistent and person-centred support to young people, understanding and responding to their individual needs and challenging behaviours through positive strategies. • Assist with daily routines, personal care, education, and leisure activities, promoting independence wherever possible. • Safely transport young people to external appointments, school, and recreational activities using company vehicles. • Maintain clear and accurate records of care, observations, and incidents, ensuring effective communication within the team. • Act as a positive role model, guiding young people towards developing coping mechanisms and healthy social interactions. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. What We Offer • A competitive hourly rate of £12 - £14.50, reflecting your skills and dedication. • Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development opportunities. • A supportive and collaborative team environment focused on positive outcomes for young people. • The chance to make a significant and lasting difference in a child's life.
